The Catholic Coaching Podcast
When we encountered New Age philosophies in Life Coaching that ran counter to our Christian beliefs, we decided to take the best practices of Life Coaching and infuse them with the rich traditions of our Catholic Faith. We're Matt and Erin Ingold, Catholic coaches and the founders of Metanoia Catholic, our Catholic Life Coaching Company. Join us as we share practical coaching tips to being transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you can be free to discover and choose your greatest calling in life.

317. Making the Right Decision Part 2 | Overcoming Fear & Indecision
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Are your current circumstances or fear of making the "wrong" choice keeping you paralyzed in endless discernment?
In Part 2 of this series on The Catholic Coaching Podcast, Matt and Erin break down the remaining 3 mindset rules to help you break free from indecision, steward your free will, and bring the fullness of your humanity into dialogue with the Lord.
While indecision might feel safe, staying stuck has a high cost—draining your mental energy, stalling your spiritual growth, and keeping you from stepping out of the boat in faith.
In Part 2, Matt and Erin cover:
◦ Rule 3: Circumstances Don't Have the Final Say: Moving from
resource scarcity to a resourceful mindset aligned with God.
◦ Rule 4: Cure Chronic "I Don't Know": Overcoming indulgent confusion
and the fear of failure.
◦ Growing in Certainty: Why 100% certainty is rare and how taking
action creates clarity.
◦ Rule 5: Don't Confuse Prudence with Fear: Identifying worst-case
scenario thinking and learning to reframe your fallen brain's self-
sabotage.
◦ Bringing Your Full Self to God: Why your humanity is not an obstacle
to discernment—it's the pathway.
